Thanks for the birthday wishes everyone. I’m now 22-22. ;-)

Still stuck in the office working on a co-workers winblows computer. I can’t wait for the day when I convert the entire office over to Macs.

Tony’s last three blood glucose tests have all been at home, and the kicker? No insulin! If he keeps hovering around the 200 mark we might not have to give him any more insulin shots and just watch his diet. YEA!

Our first blood glucose test at home today took 45 minutes to get the blood from his ear, but it was a success, and Tony is in the green. Yea!

Poking a diabetic cat with insulin shots and blood glucose tests is nowhere near as easy as they make it look in the online videos. It’s very frustrating, but I’ll do whatever I have to do for my Tony.

Just found a daily subscription to the Columbus Dispatch for only $6.99 a month on my iPad. Now I can keep up with all my hometown news.

What better way to learn how to test your cats blood glucose level than to practice on yourself? If I’m gonna have to poke my poor cat with needles I’ve at least got to be willing to do it to myself. Theresa also did it. :-)

Tomorrow morning I give Tony (our cat) the first of his twice daily insulin shots. Wish me luck, I must admit I’m more than a little nervous about it.

Every time I go to work on something in this house I want to kick the old owners ass for doing such a shitty job with everything they did themselves. Just causes more work and expense for us fixing their fuck ups.

Heading out to the vet to learn how to give Tony his twice daily insulin shots.

Pool is drained, acid wash starts tomorrow.

Just found out our son (cat) Tony has feline diabetes and will need insulin shots every 12 hours. Theresa and I will be going to the vet tomorrow to learn how to give him the shots. He is NOT going to be a happy camper. :-(

My Friday breakfast.

I’m missing all of my favorite TV shows tonight. Stuck working. This sucks. :-(

My “be a lazy bum” birthday is over. Back to playing in the dirt today.

I got two presents for my birthday today. The Buckeyes kicked ass, and Michigan lost. Yea!
